Corn oil
Corn oil is a natural substance that is produced in the process of corn corcule compression. The corcule, which is separated in the process of corn-flour production, is peeled on the separators, cut and heated up at the temperature 100…105ºС in the special heaters. Heated up and cut corcule is headed to the two-stage compression. Received oil is cleaned of rough and thin particles and is filtered, getting unrefined oil in this way. For getting refined, deodorized oil, the unrefined one is hydrated, neutralized, after that filtered, deodorized and chilled down. Ready-made oil both refined and unrefined one is produced according to the standards of DSTU GOST 8808:2003 “Corn Oil. Technical conditions”.
The unrefined oil is used for getting refined oil with the purpose of technical processing – in the production of soap, oils, paints, films, luboils, artificial rubber, in the leather industry for stuffing, and also in the production of chemicals and pesticides. The main usage of corn oil in the food industry contains of two directions – domestic use and use in food products that are produced by enterprises, as follows:
- for making of salads and for frying;
- margarine production both separately and together with other vegetable oils;
- production of mixes with sweet butter;
- production of mayonnaise and salad dressings;
- as ingredient in the production of chips and snack products;
- as ingredient in the production of bread and fancy baked goods;

Soyabean oil
Crude soyabean oil, extracted as a result of soyabean processing is a very and very popular product for preparation of energy enriched mixed feeds.
It has truly unique properties, is rich in vitamins, phospholipids and other useful elements. It contains lots of unsaturated fatty acids, especially linoleic and linolenic. These acids can’t be synthesized in animal bodies but they are vitally important for construction of cells and some hormones. Soyabean oil contains about 60% of natural antioxidants from its total amount in soybeans. All this makes it an irreplaceable product for those who are engaged professionally in swine, cattle, chicken, turkey, ostrich and other animal and poultry breeding.
The quality of soyabean oil produced in Ukraine is specified by DSTU 4534:2006, and, as a rule, has indices approximate to the following:
